Bringing Home Your Havanese Angel

Thank you for choosing Havanese Angels. Each of our puppies is raised with love, care, and attention, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth and happy transition into your home.

Please review the following care guidelines to help your puppy thrive.

  • Your puppy should be fed three times daily.

We recommend a combination of Bil-Jac Puppy Select or Eukanuba Small Breed Puppy (dry food), mixed with a quality wet puppy food (such as Cesar), to create a soft, easy-to-eat consistency.

A starter supply will be provided, and we kindly ask that you have food ready prior to pickup.

  • Fresh water should be offered multiple times throughout the day, especially after meals and playtime.

  • Your puppy is accustomed to wee-wee pads, which should be available at all times to maintain consistency during training.

    • Bathe every 2–3 weeks using a gentle shampoo (Johnson’s Baby Shampoo recommended)

    • Always towel dry and blow dry after bathing

    • Nails should be filed only at this stage (no clipping yet)

    • Use a small grooming comb to maintain their coat

  • Your puppy should visit your veterinarian within 2 weeks of pickup.

At this time, they will receive their 10-week booster vaccination.

  • It is completely normal for your puppy to cry during the first few nights.

They are adjusting from being with their littermates to a new environment, and this transition period is expected.

  • It is essential that your puppy eats regularly. Consistent feeding is critical for maintaining proper health and energy levels.

    • Treats are not recommended at this stage

    • Safe chew toys are encouraged to support teething

  • We recommend a playpen setup (such as the IRIS playpen) with a comfortable bed inside.

A collar may be introduced; however, leash use is not recommended yet due to their small size.

  • At the time of pickup or delivery, your puppy will go home with:

    • Official Florida Health Certificate

    • Microchip (already inserted)

    • First set of vaccinations

    • Deworming completed

Please remember to register your puppy’s microchip at PetKey.org under your name.

  • We offer a seamless and convenient payment experience.

We accept all major payment methods, including cash, Zelle, credit/debit cards, and Venmo.

Payment details will be arranged prior to pickup or delivery.
